Here at CCEV we provide comprehensive and dedicated routine, proactive and preventative veterinary healthcare for sport horses across all disciplines.

We carry out routine and advanced lameness examinations, medical investigations and pre-purchase examinations at your yard with the aim to minimise disruption to any routine and optimise performance goals.

With any examination and work-up, same day investigation with digital radiography, ultrasonography and endoscopy is always available. Routine haematology and biochemistry bloods can be tested on the same day limiting delay to any appropriate treatment along with removing any potential interruption to performance targets.

At CCEV we have invested heavily in providing the latest and most advanced veterinary treatment and therapeutic protocols, all designed to optimise performance and proactively minimise competition interruption.

Should specialist investigation and treatment be required, here at CCEV we work closely with a number of specialist veterinary centres providing access to CT, MRI, Nuclear scintigraphy along with specialist surgical, medical and performance and rehabilitation care.

    State-of-the-art portable ultrasonography, giving you answers fast without the need for separate visits and extra cost.

  • Endoscopy

    Allowing for direct visualisation of the airway and larynx along with prompt and detailed investigation of the upper and lower airway.

  • Shockwave (PulseVet)

    CCEV offers expert guidance and treatment with shockwave therapy, giving you confidence in its use to support healing and performance.

  • Gastroscopy

    Diagnosis of gastric ulceration including squamous and pyloric ulceration. We are able to perform this as part of a poor performance investigations.

  • Gait Analysis

    We can provide comprehensive clinical and dynamic gait analysis including the use of the Sleip app to provide effective and consistent monitoring, which can be shared with fellow professionals and team members. Gait analysis can be combined with diagnostic local anaesthesia and imaging where appropriate.

  • Oroscopy

    Orospcopy provides clarity and detail beyond standard examination techniques. This imaging modality maximises preventative pathrology diagnosis but allows owners to fully understand the extent of any relevant dental pathology and impact it may have on performance.

  • Advanced and Routine Dental care

    With over 12 years of equine dentistry experience we use a combination of state digital radiography, detailed examinations, and state of the art, digital oroscopy, to provide a comprehensive view on the oral health of your horse.

  • Electrocardiogram (ECG)

    With ECG monitoring, CCEV offers clear insight into cardiac function and rythym, giving you confidence in diagnosis and ongoing care.

  • Treatments
