Cross Counties Equine Vets was set-up by Dr. Christopher W. Welsh MRCVS firstly to provide independent veterinary care. Secondly, CCEV aims to provide performance based, advanced veterinary care and treatment to horses of all disciplines with an emphasis on consistency of care. With over 13 years of experience working across all disciplines, at the highest level, Dr Christopher provides a comprehensive approach to both poor performance, lameness, medical and dental cases, working closely with all team members to maximise performance goals, maintain longevity with prophylactic management strategies to reduce the risk of injury and competion interuption. 

Cross Counties Equine Vets provide our own emergency out of hours cover ensuring that you and the veterinary surgeon attending has a relationship and understanding of your horse and has first hand knowledge of any pertinent history.
